Electrolysis is the only method of hair removal that has been approved by the British Medical Council as being permanent. It can be used to permanently remove any hair colour, facial or body, regardless of skin tone.
Electrolysis is also safe and effective at removing hairs from moles.
At Aivilo, there are three methods of electrolysis available, blend, diathermy and galvanic. The most suitable method will be selected for the client.

How does it work?
Electrolysis involves the insertion of a very fine, disposable, sterile probe into the hair follicle. Damage to the follicle will be caused by heat (if using diathermy) or a chemical reaction (if using galvanic or blend).
Is the treatment painful?
The very latest digital technology is used to carry out the three methods of electrolysis available. Nicholas skill and the technology used ensures that the sensation experienced during treatment is much more comfortable than more traditional machines.
How many treatments will I need?
Permanent hair removal using electrolysis is a progressive treatment. During the course of your treatment you will notice the hair becoming finer and, due to the hair becoming weaker, the need to attend appointments will become less frequent. The actual number of treatments will depend on the cause and extent of the hair growth.
